2014 is here and it is not long before we will be departing for our Vietnam tour.

We will begin our seminar series on Wednesday 12 February at 6pm.  These seminars are optional and will cover a range of topics including culture, history, arts and literature.  Please note that the seminar on 19 March is compulsory for all students and we strongly advise all parents participating in the tour to attend also.  This particular seminar will cover all the final arrangements, rooming, rules and expectations and protocol.  Please contact Judy Maw jmaw@shcs.school.nz if you will be unable to attend this seminar.  Seminars will be held once per week, always at 6pm on a Wednesday night, with the final seminar being held on Wednesday 26 March.

On 19 February we will complete Vietnam visa applications.  These will be due on 21 February, the easiest arrangement will be to complete them on the night of 19 February then hand in to staff.  For the Vietnam visa you will need to provide a 4x6cm passport photo and your passport.  This is sent to the Viet Nam Embassy in Wellington for processing.

Please note - this means that trip participants will not have their passports from 19 February until mid March.  Please let us know immediately if you have international travel planned, or if your require your passport for other reasons during this time period.
